This week, a group of Upper School students interested in pursuing a career in education attended the NJ Future Educators Association High School Conference at Rowan College of South Jersey’s Gloucester Campus. Organized by the Center for Future Educators at The College of New Jersey, the conference introduced high school and middle school students to colleges and universities around the state, providing students the opportunity to network with peers and learn from leaders in the field of education. Breakout sessions included topics such as emotional literacy, literature circles, simulations in the workplace, the use of games in formative assessments, public speaking, physical & environmental science, and artificial intelligence. Thanks to the Office of DEIB for providing these valuable career exploratory opportunities for our students.
