At Stuart, we educate our students to be informed, responsible and active global citizens who act as respectful stewards of our earth's resources, by giving them opportunities through our curriculum to explore topics and tap into their creativity as content creators. Three Middle School students, Ruby Matthews, Alexandra Janiszewski, and Zion Ladigbolu, were recently named recipients of the Youth Environmental Storytellers Award for this year’s Redford Center Stories Youth Filmmaking Challenge for their film “Eco Forest!”
Their film was featured as part of Redford Center's Friday Night Film series on the evening of April 22. Scroll down to watch their film at the 10 minute mark or click here to watch on the Redford Center's YouTube channel.
As part of their prize package, the students get to choose from a list of organizations to which Redford Center will make a $350 donation in their honor. Redford will also plant 75 trees in their honor!
Congratulations Ruby, Alexandra and Zion on leading by example!
