Students remember loved ones for Day of the Dead

Students remember loved ones for Day of the Dead

What a celebration! Students celebrated the Day of the Dead in Mr. Cordero’s Spanish class today. They honored relatives that are no longer with them and joined together in a celebration of remembrance. Students were in charge of presentations, decorations, food, and pictures. Through the process, they learned new things about their relatives and had a great time.

The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration.
