Grades 5 and 8 visited BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham Hindu Temple in Robbinsville, connecting their studies of Indian history and sacred architecture. Grade 7 explored historic and religious sites in Philadelphia and Lancaster, deepening their understanding of religious freedom and Amish culture as part of their Project-Based Learning unit. Grade 6 took on climate change and conservation during a visit to the Museum of Natural History, reinforcing their curriculum on ecosystems and environmental impact. The trip connects to the Sacred Heart Goals by fostering awareness and responsibility for the natural world, with exhibits emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and the impact of human actions. Lastly, a group of fifth and eighth graders joined students from across Princeton for hands-on science activities at Princeton University’s Department of Neuroscience.
