Middle School debate team members place well at first tournament of the year
Coming off of a very successful 2021-2022 season, the Middle School Debate Team recently competed in their first tournament of the year. Largely a novice team, the girls brought that unstoppable Stuart spirit with them! Isabelle (far left) won the Poetry Interpretation event, with Maya (middle right) finishing second and Ella (middle left) finishing third. Brie (far right) finished in fourth place in a very crowded and talented student congress field. Stuart placed an impressive third overall, considering that most teams had students with two and three years of experience competing in many different events. Congratulations team!
