Grades 7 and 8 foster relationships in the community for Goal 3 Day

In the Middle School, students begin the year actively living out our mission and Sacred Heart Goal 3: A social awareness that impels to action. For Goal 3 Day in the seventh and eighth grades, students re-established connections in the community. The seventh grade worked as teaching assistants for the Catholic Youth Organization’s preschool program. We look forward to having the boys and girls visit us next month for their Halloween party with us! The eighth grade (pictured) traveled to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey where they packed over 1,000 meals for families and filled over 80 boxes while learning about food scarcity. Both groups were amazing to watch as they gave everything they had to support those who needed them.
