Stuart Lower and Middle School students earn top honors in spring math competitions

Last month, a few Stuart Lower and Middle School students showcased their mathematical expertise at the INTEGIRLS NYC/NJ Spring 2024 math competition. Over 500 girls participated, tackling challenging questions in number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and algebra across various grade-level divisions. Congratulations goes out to fifth grader Emma on earning first place in the 5-6 division! Joining her in the accolades are fifth grader Elaine who secured 6th place and eighth grader Catherine who finished 9th in the 7-8 division. Adding to the celebrations, Emma’s sister Megan took the top spot for NJ in the 2024 Kangaroo Math competition, earning first place for the first grade division and achieving a remarkable 7th place nationwide. Congratulations to Emma, Elaine, Catherine and Megan on their hard work and dedication!
