Lower School celebrates trailblazing women throughout history for Women We Admire Day

Lower School celebrates trailblazing women throughout history for Women We Admire Day

When we acknowledge the contributions made by women throughout history, we empower girls to believe their dreams are possible.

Women We Admire Day at Stuart celebrates the lives of remarkable women from diverse backgrounds and eras, showcasing their contributions to society as pioneers in their respective fields. As a signature event in the Lower School, Women we Admire Day provides our young learners with the chance to strengthen their reading and writing skills while delving into the life and accomplishments of women that may influence their own dreams and pursuits. Girls dress up to resemble their woman and parade through the school to Cor Unum for the Opening Ceremony. This is followed by a Talking Museum, where the girls remained in character to tell their life story to families, students and teachers. Our youngest students joined in on the parade by sharing facts about their teachers and moms - the women we all admire the most!
