Eight Upper School students attend largest Catholic social justice conference in the country

Eight Upper School students attend largest Catholic social justice conference in the country

Faith, Justice, and Walking with Purpose.

Recently a group of eight Upper School students attended the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington D.C, where they networked, reflected and engaged in sessions with other Catholic high school and college students from around the country, focusing on the intersectionality of faith and social justice. While there, the Stuart cohort connected with students from 91st Street, Stone Ridge and Newton Country Day at a luncheon hosted by the Network. And as evidenced by the photo on Capitol Hill, students demonstrated their brilliance in the offices of Senator Corey Booker and Congressman Andy Kim.

We are thankful to the Office of DEIB and the Sacred Heart Network for providing opportunities for students to put their faith into action!
