Black Alumnae Committee collaborates with Black Student Union for Black History Month display

In celebration of Black History Month, members of the Black Student Union (BSU) were joined by members of the Black Alumnae Committee to decorate the Cor Cordis spaces with a periodic table of elements dedicated to celebrating Black hair as well as a history of Soul Food with recipes. The table of elements honors the beauty and creativity of Black hairstyles and pays homage to its significance as an emblem of identity, resistance, and resilience. And for the remainder of the month, BSU students will host Soul Food Fridays during goûter, offering tastings for their peers.
