Varsity tennis is first Stuart team to compete in NJSIAA tournament

Varsity tennis is first Stuart team to compete in NJSIAA tournament

On Tuesday afternoon, the varsity tennis team traveled to Moorestown Friends to play in the first round of the NJSIAA State Tennis Team Tournament. The team fought a tough battle, but unfortunately lost 2-3. The team bounced back the next day and both JV and Varsity took the win against Steinert High School.

Stuart Athletics became official members of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) this year, which enables our teams to participate in state championship tournaments and compete against a more diverse array of opponents.

On Saturday, October 5, senior Elise Hwang will compete in the NJSIAA Tennis Singles Tournament at Mercer County Park, playing against some of the top athletes in the state.
