Stuart senior sets school record at NJSIAA Non-Public A & B State Championships

Stuart Track & Field competed at the NJSIAA Non-Public A & B State Championships this weekend, delivering memorable performances, with two athletes advancing to the Meet of Champions.

Senior captain Kirsten Brenya broke the school record in the triple jump with a personal best of 37'0", earning a silver medal and a berth in the Meet of Champions. She also placed fourth in the high jump (4'8"), fifth in the long jump (16'8.5"), and eighth in the 400m (1:04.21), competing across four events over two days with remarkable consistency.

Sophomore Georgia Glanton continued her impressive postseason run, advancing to the 100m finals and finishing sixth with a personal best of 12.83. She also posted personal bests in the 400m (1:04.90, 11th) and closed the meet in the 200m (27.52, 11th). Georgia will also compete in the discus at the Meet of Champions this week.

Fatima finished 11th in the 400m hurdles (1:23.00) and closed the meet with a season-best long jump of 12'11.75". Nana rounded out the team's effort with a personal best in the 100m.
