The Stuart Middle School basketball team showed incredible grit and heart in a thrilling comeback win against Pennington. After trailing 5–13 early, the team never lost belief and stayed connected on and off the court. One of the standout moments of the game came during the second quarter, when the Tartans enthusiastically cheered on the Whites, showing great sportsmanship, positive energy, and a true sense of community.
The second half told the story of the comeback. Juliette knocked down multiple three-pointers to help tie the game and completely shift the momentum. Anya came up with timely rebounds and hit her first basket of the season, while Noelle made a big shot that sparked the run and energized the team. Alani showed outstanding control of the ball throughout the game, scoring when needed and consistently setting up her teammates for success.
In an exciting final quarter, Stuart exploded for 13 points to seal the comeback and earn the win. It was a total team effort filled with resilience, grit, and tremendous school spirit—an effort the entire community can be proud of.
