Giselle Jean-Marie set a new Stuart high jump record at a recent meet against George School and Pennington. Jean-Marie took first place by clearing 5'6" to set both a personal record and a new school record. She also placed second in the long jump, third in the shot put and sixth with a person record in the javelin. Congratulations also go out to sophomore Mizan Chennault who placed first in the 800 meter run.
The following athletes should also be recognized for their performance in the meet:
Ashley Batz: fifth in the 800 meter run (PR)
Sarah Glickson: fifth in discus (PR), eighth in javelin and fifth in the shot put
Samara Grant: eighth in shot put and tenth in javelin
Aryiana Johnson: seventh in the 100 meter dash and sixth in the 200 meter dash (PR)
Juliette Vergara: fourth in the 800 meter run (PR)
Mia Zebrauskas: sixth in discus and sixth in the shot put
