Stuart Country Day School Wins International Marketing Awards

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart has won three 2021 InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Award for its NOTHING STOPS A STUART GIRL. print campaign and admissions welcome materials in the only international competition that recognizes excellence in private and independent school marketing and communications. The Brilliance Awards are sponsored by InspirED School Marketers, a website that provides “brilliant ideas and brain food” for private school administrators around the globe. 

"The recognition for NOTHING STOPS A STUART GIRL. is incredibly meaningful to our team as this was not only a homegrown campaign but it was rolled out during a pandemic," commented Monica Vogel, art director for the Office of Communications. "We managed and executed every aspect of the campaign - including the launch of a brand new website - in under a year. I am so proud of this accomplishment and so honored to be a part of this team."

The entries were judged by a volunteer panel of 68 marketing experts from around the world who are professionals in private schools or businesses that specialize in school marketing. The entries were scored on creativity, persuasiveness, design, copy, photography and overall appeal. 

"I am delighted that the broader community has embraced this homegrown campaign," added Christen Jones, director of institutional advancement. "From the moment our student shared that "nothing stops a Stuart girl from achieving her goal," it confirmed that our vision for a bold and more authentic campaign mirrored how students feel about being at Stuart. We had our story."

Silver Award for Category No. 10: Paid Advertising | VIEW

Judges notes: A stunning and well-thought-out campaign! The consistent headline says it all; I didn't even need or want to read more to understand what this school is all about. The photography is gorgeous and captured the students' expressions so perfectly. I am sure SCDS is incredibly proud of this campaign, as it should be!

Bronze Award for Category No. 5: Admitted Student Welcome | VIEW

Judges notes: The "nothing stops a girl" line is extremely powerful and motivating for an admitted student. The colors are bold, the text is bold — the items in the admitted box would appeal to a young high school girl. It's an exciting package to receive in the mail and reinforces excitement to enroll, boldness, and the distinctiveness of a girls' education.
The messaging is clear, simple, powerful and effectively communicates membership/identity within the community. The swag is varied, playful, and nicely branded. Imagery of current students would enhance sense of community.
Bronze Award for Category No. 25: COVID-19 Enrollment | VIEW

Judges notes: LOVE this campaign! Great visual and creative execution, and it looks like a really successful event. What a great way to maintain energy and excitement, and build school spirit, during the pandemic.
