Stuart alumnae return to campus to celebrate enduring friendships and a shared purpose

It was a beautiful weekend at Stuart as alumnae returned to campus to reconnect with one another, reflect on their journeys, and revisit a place that continues to evolve while staying true to its mission.

Friday began with an alumnae lunch and Sacred Heart Conversation that set the tone for meaningful dialogue and reconnection. Later, students gathered for Women in Leadership panels and a career networking fair, where alumnae from class years ending in 0s and 5s shared insights, experiences, and encouragement. These moments reinforced how essential it is for girls to learn from women who’ve walked the path before them.

Saturday brought joyful reunions and heartfelt tributes. The Class of 1975, Stuart’s first first grade class, gathered for their 50th reunion breakfast with Head of School Julia Wall. Guests attended the Alumnae Board annual meeting in the Leadership in Action conference room, where they heard from two senior Leadership Endorsement students and Dr. Muoio about opportunities through the NCGLS. Immediately after, alumnae toasted the day with a reception in the Raissa Maritain Library and enjoyed sharing memories in the podcast room before gathering in the Student Center to recognize the Class of 1975 and applaud this year’s award recipients: Grace Schoeniger ’85 and Ingrid Schmiederer ’05 with the Alumnae Gallery Award, and Maya Kuang ’15 with the Young Alumna Award.

Throughout the weekend, one theme came through in every story: Stuart gave alumnae the confidence to lead with purpose, the courage to speak up, and friendships that last a lifetime. Once a Stuart girl, always a Stuart girl.
