Msgr. Greg calls the community to live as a blessing for others

Msgr. Greg calls the community to live as a blessing for others
In his All Saints' Day homily this week, Msgr. Greg invited us to picture all who came before us—family, ancestors, and saints—standing behind us as part of our story of faith. “No matter what’s happening in your life,” he said, “be a blessing for someone else. In being a blessing, that’s how you are showing God’s love to our world.” He also reflected on Janet Erskine Stuart, a woman of great holiness who, while not a saint, is revered in our community as our namesake. She taught the importance of being open to knowing other people and listening to their stories. Like Mother Stuart and all the saints we celebrate today, may we live with courage, compassion, joy, and trust in God’s plan.
