Leadership conference returns with nearly 200 future changemakers in attendance

On Saturday, April 23, Stuart hosted nearly 200 girls in grades 4-8 for the return of our leadership conference, which was rebranded as Raise Her Voice and featured five workshops designed for specific age groups to meet the five standards of the NCGLS. The conference opened with Stuart senior Sonya Jin sharing her leadership journey as one of our featured speakers. Giving the keynote address for the morning was motivational speaker, business owner and long-time friend of Stuart, Jennifer Chin-Gorner. After the opening ceremony, students went off with their groups to learn from Stuart faculty and staff through a variety of hands-on and discussion-based workshops. The day closed with another motivational message from Ms. Chin-Gorner, before she invited the girls on stage for a big dance party and confetti!
