Our school boasts over 150 students, faculty and staff whose roots lie outside the United States. This year, the annual Flag Ceremony featured over 50 flags that were proudly processed into Cor Unum and put on display as a powerful backdrop representing the diversity of the Stuart community. This much-loved event was introduced by former head of school, Sr. Fran de la Chapelle, in 1999 and honors first and second generation students, faculty, and staff who have emigrated here from all over the world.
Diversity is core to our mission. As a Sacred Heart school, Stuart intentionally welcomes and embraces students of all faiths and backgrounds, nurturing a global perspective and passion for justice that will transform the world. Opening the school year with this celebration symbolizes our commitment to fostering a community where every individual is valued and respected, rooted in love, and united in purpose.
