This year's Stuart community effort for Loaves and Fishes was truly a school-wide event! Work began early in the week during the Lower School Goal 3 Day when the girls made placemats and hats and scarves. Students, parents and faculty/staff dropped off contributions of food, money, toiletries, and more. Thursday, the Early Childhood girls and boys raised money at their lemonade sale which was used to purchase 12 pairs of warm socks, 10 pairs of gloves and 11 winter hats for the Loaves and Fishes guests. On Friday, using our donations, Middle School girls prepared nearly 1,000 sandwich lunches and 150 toiletry bags. Our efforts culminated on Saturday when students, parents, faculty and staff came to St. Mary's Cathedral to help serve the meal, distribute lunches, coats, hats and gloves, and help out in countless ways. All together the Stuart community also collected more than $1,100 for Loaves and Fishes. Goal 3 is truly alive and well in the Stuart community!
