Pink Out! Stuart community spreads awareness, raises money for breast cancer research

It was a Pink Out WEEK in support of the National Foundation for Cancer Research's Play4TheCure® program. Our annual school-wide fundraising event featured a silent auction of baskets donated by Upper School athletes, a bake sale with goodies donated by Middle School athletes, and Pink Out Day on Friday where students, faculty and staff all wore their finest pink attire. In the afternoon, the varsity field hockey and tennis teams donned pink to play the annual Play4TheCure® games at home. Varsity tennis played Princeton Day School while varsity field hockey took to the turf against Mount St. Mary's. Congratulations to varsity field hockey on their 5-1 win with a hat-trick by sophomore Catherine Martin. We're pleased to share that because of the generosity of our community, we raised nearly $1,000 for NFCR!
