Spontaneous theatrical performances from our talented ninth grade English classes popped up all over the Stuart campus as they performed scenes from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." Hallways, stairwells, the Serpentine Parlor, and many other clever locations were the venues of choice for Ms. Cutalo's, Ms. Hamblen's, and Ms. Larson's students. These performances were the culmination of an English project that required students to look at their close reading of Shakespeare's text to make artistic choices about scene location, costuming and blocking. The response to the performances was a resounding, "Bravo!"
