In a moving celebration of Black History Month, young women at Stuart in the Upper School Black Student Union and Middle School presented Reflections: A Black Her-Story Program. Reflections puts the spotlight on important eras, moments, and movements within Black history dating back to Africa pre-slavery to present time. Through song, dance, music, poetry, visual images and dramatic performances, students put a spotlight on the triumphs and struggles of black women and girls. This production was written and directed by Middle School English Teacher Naimah Beyah and presented with the support of Stuart's Black Her-Story Planning Committee.
