We are proud to announce that Elaine Wang '20 has been selected as a New Jersey Governor's School Scholar. She will be attending the Governor's School in the Sciences at Drew University from July 14 to August 3, 2019. As a Governor's School Scholar, she will be one of a group of outstanding high school juniors from all parts of the state who have been chosen to participate in the program, which includes comprehensive educational programming, research projects, and visits to local STEM-focused companies.
The Governor's School of New Jersey was established in 1983. The tuition-free programs are open to students from diverse economic backgrounds who are New Jersey residents and who have completed their junior year in any public or private high school or are home-schooled. The 2019 Scholars represent outstanding high school juniors from all parts of the state who have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Congratulations Elaine!
