Something to look forward to during the spring months is taking advantage of all 55 acres of the beautiful wooded campus that surrounds the school. Recently, all eighth grade classes completed a printmaking project that began with a morning spent outside to sketch the landscape around Stuart. The girls then carved their drawings into blocks of linoleum and created black and white prints using an etching printing press. The results were very dramatic and looked great displayed together. Stop down to Phyllis Wright's classroom to see the girls' work along with all of the beautiful work by the artists at Stuart. Click here for photos.
