The Stuart community helped usher in a new year - and welcome new families to the school - with the annual Day of Service and StuartFest. With a new virtual format of a service activity for the homeless population in Atlantic City and a family pizza night hosted by Carlo Momo P'22, Terra Momo Group, Stuart Parent Association and Stuart Advancement, we not only had an overwhelming response to both events, but we became closer as a community because of it. Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, we are #StuartProud of our community for living out Sacred Heart Goal Three: A social awareness which impels to action and Goal Four: The building of community as a Christian value.
With tremendous gratitude, we are thrilled to report that Stuart gathered over 600 completed hygiene and snack packs for the homeless, which were delivered yesterday to those most in need through the Father Benedict House and the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in Atlantic City. We also had the opportunity to break bread and celebrate as a community with a fun and delicious pizza-making experience hosted by the Terra Momo Group, Stuart Parent Association and Stuart Advancement.
In a year like no other, the smiles, laughter and camaraderie shared during these events welcomed our new families into the warmth and faith of our Stuart family!
