Students in all divisions opened the school year by hearing from three alums for the second of the NCGLS Women in Leadership Panel Series of the year. Joining virtually were Sianna Elise Peal '14, Shana Jordan '09, and Michelle Gillen-Doobrajh '01 who spoke of their non-linear journeys into entrepreneurship, challenges through COVID and lessons on life and leadership. The panelists took turns answering questions presented by student moderators Serenity Bellamy (fifth grade) and 11th graders Sonya Jin and Kelsie Bouyer. The students were all selected because they demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in work that they are bringing to Stuart. Serenity runs her own crafting business and Sonya and Kelsie are the founders of "Girl Up" in the Upper School. The full panel is available to watch on YouTube below. The next Women in Leadership Panel is in April, 2021. Click here to learn more about the series and the NCGLS.
