As a Sacred Heart school, we strive to promote social and emotional well-being daily through our lessons, words, and actions. A simple act of kindness can go a long way -- now more than ever -- during these unprecedented times. The Stuart Counseling Office wants to ensure we are doing our part and teaching our girls to lead by example while implementing the Sacred Heart Goals with their daily practices.
Students in the Lower and Middle Schools are decorating strips of paper as part of The Great Kindness Challenge. School counselors Melissa Cortina (LS) and Nikema Missouri (MS/US) has come up with a list of 25 simple Acts of Kindness here. They encourage students to complete these tasks/actions while at home or within the community. Please complete this Google Form by March 12 so they can tally how many Acts of Kindness we have completed as a Stuart community in our work to make the world a better place!
Have fun, be kind, and remember, in the words of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, "Your example, even more than your words, will be an eloquent lesson to the world."
