September 9 and 10 at 7 PM: Parent Discussion with Ali Michael, Ph.D. - Building Healthy Multiracial Communities: “What Do White Children Need to Know about Race?” Parents are invited for a community presentation and discussion on building and sustaining a healthy multiracial community at Stuart and exploring what White children need to know about race in order to help make change. These sessions will be facilitated by consultant, Ali Michael, Ph.D., co-author of the award-winning Independent Schools Magazine article entitled “What White Children Need to Know about Race.”  Dr. Michael is a White woman and will share stories from her life as a parent, researcher and anti-racism educator.  We hope families of all racial backgrounds will contribute to this important discussion. September 21 - 25: Green & White Spirit Week Green and White Day is being rescheduled for the spring of 2021, but we look forward to hosting outdoor, socially distant competitions to kick-off the school year in September! Go Green or Go White - we will honor this long-celebrated tradition! Details to be shared within each division.

September 25 at 10 AM: Flag Ceremony Stuart families and faculty/staff are invited to participate in this wonderful ‘virtual’ celebration. September 26: Day of Service & StuartFest Family Pizza Night Join us virtually to assemble hygiene bags and snack bags in the morning followed by a family pizza night hosted by Carlo Momo P’22 of the Terra Momo Restaurant Group. Details and registration at stuartschool.org/stuartfest2020.
