Organized in 1971, the Stuart Parent Association (SPA) serves to foster parents’ interest in the school and involve them in enhancing the quality of their daughters’ lives through enrichment activities designed to support both student and parent.

The organization also functions as a communications conduit between faculty, students and parents. The work of SPA is led by the Executive Council, consisting of SPA's elected officers and the Head of School. The Executive Council, which meets quarterly, coordinates events and supports the school in many areas. Elected officers serve for a term of two years.

This is an afternoon of good food, games and fun for the whole family, as the entire Stuart community gathers to celebrate the start of the school year.  Volunteers are needed to help plan and organize the service and special children’s activities including face painting, arts and crafts, balloons and more! Each year Stuart participates in the annual Coat Drive for Loaves & Fishes. We collect coats in all sizes, gloves and scarves. Parent volunteers assist in the collection and delivery of donated items.

Terra Cottage Holiday Village Workshop

The Christmas Sharing tradition continues each year as the Stuart community provides gifts for those in need at Womanspace. We ask Stuart families to purchase a necessity item and/or a toy of your choosing from the donation needs list provided by Womanspace.

MLK Day - Day of Service

Instead of taking a day off, students, parents, faculty and administration from Stuart and Princeton Academy come together for a "day on" of service.  Driven by Sacred Heart Goal 3, and in honor of Martin Luther King Jr., volunteers work on a wide variety of service projects for a memorable day of building community and social awareness held at Princeton Academy.

EC and Lower School Grandparents/Special Friends Day

Each year, students in the Early Childhood and Lower School welcome their grandparents and special friends to Stuart for the annual Grandparents Day celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls and young boys to show off their school, friends and classes to those special people in their lives. Early Childhood grandparents are treated to a delightful musical presentation and the JK–4 grandparents enjoy a performing arts program full of songs, dance and laughter. Volunteers are needed to plan and organize the morning’s activities.

The Bookbag sells everything from pens and pencils to Stuart spirit logo items. Time commitment is flexible and there are many ways to get involved from merchandising to volunteering for specific time blocks during the week. Encore Emporium/Used Uniforms

Offered as a service to the Stuart Community, SPA operates “The Encore Emporium,” throughout the year where parents can drop off or pick up gently used uniforms. Help is needed periodically to straighten up and help sort donations for sale throughout the summer, and/or on Orientation Days, Back-to-School Nights, and occasionally throughout the year. Loaves and Fishes

The Stuart community volunteers to serve meals at Loaves and Fishes at the soup kitchen in Trenton on the last Saturday in January each year. Parents and students work together to make a meal, serve it, and clean up afterwards. It is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to give back. Christmas Sharing Program

Early December

Every year Stuart partners with an organization during the Christmas season to supply items for women and children in need. We will be continuing our relationship with Womanspace, a non-profit agency serving victims and their families in Mercer County. Volunteers help provide assistance in getting the Christmas donations collected from Stuart families and ready to provide to children in need. Many thanks to our Stuart Parents Association (SPA) for appreciating our faculty and staff!
I would like to send a quick note to thank our amazing Stuart Parent Association (SPA) for the lovely Teacher and Staff Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, May 7. Under President Ludwig Zabrouska's leadership and the creativity, coordination and support of incoming President Jennifer Teaney and her team, we were whisked away to a lovely Parisian cafe for a memorable morning of food, conversation and even chair massages!
"Thanks A Latte" to all of our parent volunteers!

This past Thursday, May 2, Stuart hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, also known as "Thanks-A-Latte." Stuart was happy to host many parent volunteers and offer them fresh brewed espresso drinks from the talented Benfatto Coffee baristas! Dr. Fagin, Christen Jones, and outgoing SPA President, Ludwig Zebrauskas, all shared their thanks for the incredible amount of time and effort that Stuart parents put into our school.

Stuart community kicks up their heels at Sunset Shindig in support of Stuart girls

On Friday, October 5, 150 current and past parents, faculty/staff members, and alumnae gathered for the Sunset Shindig fundraiser. The event was planned and hosted by current parents Kathleen Mandzij and Noelle Ridings. Guests enjoyed the tunes of the Blue Jersey Band while sampling meals from multiple different food trucks and drinks from a bar housed in a vintage Winnebago camper.

Stuart and Princeton Academy join Sacred Heart schools around the world for Global Service Day

The Global Day of Service marked the 200th anniversary of the day Philippine opened the first Sacred Heart school in the New World, the Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles, Missouri. Stuart partnered with PASH and SPA to provide a really fun and meaningful day for our families! Students and families from both schools all received a "passport to service" to spend the afternoon visiting with 20 tables of service organizations filled with activities for students and parents to participate in.
