Flag Ceremony

Held each September prior to the Mass of the Holy Spirit, the Flag Ceremony allows the students, faculty and staff to reflect on the diversity of Stuart’s community. It serves as a powerful reminder that different nations can live and work together in peace and harmony.

What Students Can Expect

At the ceremony, students gather in groups around the flag of their ancestry. Beginning with Australia, they enter Cor Unum in a procession and each country is announced. The processional includes members of Stuart’s faculty, staff and students, who carry flags of their native country or that of their parents. Once everyone has assembled, the school then celebrates the Mass of the Holy Spirit.
