Miss Harmon Snow '97, P'27, P'33, a native and current resident of Trenton, is a community engagement professional and change maker. Miss was a leader during her years at Stuart, serving most notably as the Student Body President. Miss was also the recipient of the Goal IV award during her graduation for the building of community as a Christian value. Miss has a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies and a minor in Dance from Rider University. While employed with RCE she completed an Associates of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Dance at Mercer County Community College.
During her 17 years of employment with Rutgers Cooperative Extension as a nutrition educator and a 4-H urban program associate, Miss received several awards and distinctions for areas including Distinguished Service, Equal Employment Opportunities, Achievement in Service for Outstanding Contributions, Execution of Summer Science Programs, Digital Filmmaking Programs and Excellence for Out-of School Time Programming. Additionally, she was an adjunct professor at Rutgers University, where she taught a course, "Principles of Leadership ''. During the pandemic she taught virtually in Italy, Russia, Guam, and Azerbaijan. During the 2021-2022 school year, Miss served as the Assistant Director of the Stuart Fund and Alumnae Engagement. Prior to her return to Stuart, she served on the Stuart Alumnae Board for 2 years and was the co-chair of Stuart's Black Alum Affinity Group.
Living a life of service is very important in everything she does. Her work involves promoting and implementing systems to improve the social determinants of health for urban populations. She works to enhance and create a more resilient, healthy, equitable, and enjoyable environment for all.
Miss is a Stuart parent to her two daughters, Micah Davis '27 and Jamila Snow '33. As a family, they pride themselves on being a travel family, both domestically and internationally.
