Setting Girls Up for Success at an Early Age
A workshop for girls in elementary school* and their parents
Led by Michelle Dowling, Head of Lower School and Early Childhood Program
Research, now more than ever, supports the importance of starting to build a girl's confidence early in life. Parents will learn more about how a girl learns differently than a boy and how stereotypes directly affect a girl's confidence and ability to succeed in a co-ed world. Students will break out for math and literacy activities by age group with Stuart faculty. The workshop will culminate with a student presentation for parents.
