Parent Association

Organized in 1971, Stuart’s Parent Association (SPA) serves to foster parents’ interest in the school and involve them in enhancing the quality of their daughters’ lives through enrichment activities designed to support both student and parent.

The organization also functions as a communications conduit between faculty, students and parents. The work of SPA is led by the Executive Council, consisting of SPA's elected officers and the Head of School. The Executive Council, which meets monthly, coordinates events and supports the school in many areas. Elected officers serve for a term of two years.

SPA Plant Sale; In time for Mother's Day!

It's time to get those gardens planted! SPA will be hosting our annual Mother's Day Plant Sale and Boutique - Thursday and Friday, May 10 and 11 from 8 AM–3:30 PM in the Sundial Garden, which is located off the rear parking lot.

A SPA luncheon will take place on Wednesday, May 2 at noon in the Front Hall. The whole Stuart parent community is welcome. The SPA Executive Committee slate for 2012–2013 will be presented. Please RSVP to spa@stuartschool.org by Friday, April 27.

In her discussion titled, “Helping Girls Thrive: Cultivating Intellectual and Emotional Growth,” Lisa Damour, PhD, will provide strategies parents can employ to help girls of all ages pursue high levels of achievement while welcoming challenges, enjoying learning, and maintaining emotional well-being. Wednesday, April 11, 7:00 PM in the Stuart Little Theater. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 PM.

Get out your dancing shoes! The Middle and Upper School Father-Daughter dance will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 7-10PM at The Bedens Brook Club in Skillman. Registration for this event is now closed.
