Fourteen Stuart girls—13 students and one staff member—cut their hair on Tuesday, February 14 to donate to children with permanent hair loss at Stuart's 17th Annual Locks of Love hair cutting event. Stylists from Metropolis Spa and Salon in Princeton volunteered their time and talents to give complementary haircuts. Since February 2001, Stuart girls, faculty and staff, and their families, have been growing their hair in order to donate ponytails. The Stuart community has given over 300 ponytails to Locks of Love. The organization uses the ponytails to make human hair wigs for children with permanent hair loss.
