Sparks fly at the 6th Annual P'Town Throwdown

On Saturday, Stuart's Sparks robotics team hosted the Sixth Annual P'Town Throwdown in the Fruscione Athletics Center. Despite snow in the forecast, 21 teams from all over New Jersey came to Stuart for the official FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) event, designed to give students a hands-on, team approach to developing STEM skills. Our own Sparks were part of winning alliances in three out of their five rounds, earning the team qualifying points for league meets. Thankfully, our guests were packed up and safely on their way home before the snow began to fall. Congratulations to all the FTC teams, the Sparks and their coach, Alicia Testa, on a very successful day of competition! See photos from the day in the gallery or in the slideshow below.
