When senior Jalynn Spaulding drove to basket with 2:12 left in the first quarter, not only did she boost the Tartans to a 21-0 lead over Princeton Day School, but she also reached 1,000 in career points on Wednesday, December 14. Jalynn finished the game with 15 points, and together with junior Bey-Shana Clark who had 16 points, led Stuart's varsity basketball team to a convincing 60-35 win over their across-the-street rivals, PDS. Jalynn joins Stuart alumnae athletes Kathryn Kitts '06 and Diamond Lewis '06 in Stuart Country Day School's 1000 Point Club. The Tartans junior varsity team, led by freshman Catherine Martin with 15 points, followed up the win with a victory of their own, beating PDS 48-22.
