Endowment & Scholarships

Endowment

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart seeks to ensure the future of Sacred Heart education for women through its endowment. An endowment helps to secure an institution's long-term financial stability. Many independent schools maintain an endowment. Income from the investment of the school's endowment, together with fundraising initiatives, helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual operating expenses at Stuart. A strong, growing endowment helps to keep tuition affordable. Gifts to Stuart's endowment are an investment in the Stuart of today and tomorrow.

Scholarships

The Angels Program at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart enhances the lives of children by providing academically qualified young women with a private girls’ school education that is rooted in the philosophy of the Sacred Heart. The Angels Program serves children and families who have limited financial resources, and for whom a private school education would otherwise be impossible. Stuart, because of its history and heritage as a Sacred Heart school and its existing inner-city summer program, the Summer Stars, is uniquely qualified to identify, educate, and support girls in need.

A Stuart Scholarship Recipient Speaks:

“At Stuart, the academic rigor taught me discipline and taught me to value intellectual pursuits which prepared me for college. However, the goals of the Sacred Heart prepared me for life.”

— Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart graduate, B.A., Princeton University, Ed.M, Harvard University.
