World Cultures and travels camp

 

Summer 2008

                      

June 30-July 25, 2008 at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart

Take a virtual tour each week through literature, arts and crafts, languages, dance and drama.   Campers will visit Canada, France, Spain, Central and South America, Africa, China and Japan.

Special snacks from the culture will be included in the experience.  Camp is Open from 8:30 to 5:30.  Half day campers are encouraged to attend from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Stuart faculty and staff will supervise the program and all questions may be directed to:  Ms. Anne Pierpont, Assistant Headmistress. Daily Schedule:

8:30 to 8:45 am 
Arrive and gather in Cor Unum at Stuart Country Day School

Assembly for all/ divided into age groups

Music /Arts Activities

Supervised recess and snack time

Arts/ Drama Activities

Lunch Break and Outside Games

Introduction to Languages

Small Group activities/ stories/ free play and rest time for younger children

3:00 to 5:30
After Camp/ Activities will vary by age and by the week
