Upper School 9-12
The completed application to the Stuart Upper School includes the following:
Application
A completed application form plus $75 application fee is required.
Interview
An interview for candidates and their parents should be scheduled during the school day between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. prior to the applicant's full-day visit. Please call the Admission Office for an appointment.
Visit
Applicants spend the entire school day (8:00 a.m.-3:10 p.m.) attending Upper School classes. Applicants who are unable to visit while school is in session should contact the Admission Office to make arrangements for a student interview.
Testing
Applicants are required to take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) and writing sample administered at various testing centers listed in the SSAT booklet. The SSAT is offered here at Stuart on Saturday, December 8, 2007. Please contact SSAT to register.
Recommendations
Three recommendations(English, Mathematics, School Principal) should be mailed directly to Stuart. These recommendations should be completed by teachers who are familiar with the applicant's academic performance.
Transcript
A transcript, including official grades and standardized test scores from the applicant's present school, should be mailed directly to Stuart.
