Financial Aid

A Sacred Heart education is an investment in your child’s future. Providing an independent school education requires careful financial planning, and it is important to understand that families are expected to bear the cost according to their means and ability to pay.

Since its founding, Stuart has been committed to offering financial aid to qualified applicants who provide evidence of need. Currently, 20 percent of our students receive financial aid. Aid is offered to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Questions about the financial aid process may be directed to Kyle Z. Morse, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, at kmorse@stuartschool.org or 609.921.2330 x 235.

How to Apply

Applicant families and Stuart families who do not currently receive financial assistance are asked to apply for financial aid using TADS, which provides a framework through which household need can be measured fairly and equitably. Recommendations from TADS are used by the Stuart Financial Aid Committee in accordance the School’s policies to determine the award amount.

Applications for tuition assistance may be completed online at www.mytads.com or use the links in the column to the right to take you directly to either the TADS Financial Aid Application or the TADS Financial Aid Worksheet.  Question about the TADS application process can be directed to TADS at 800-477-8237.

Returning aid families may either continue to use School and Students Services (SSS) by NAIS or TADS. The SSS application can be found on the SSS Online Website. Stuart’s SSS school code is 7543. Questions about the PFS can be directed to the SSS Financial Aid Helpline at 866-387-2601 (Mon – Fri, 8am – 4pm EST).

The deadline for all financial aid applications is January 31, 2012.

Additional Aid Options

Many banks offer education loans to qualified borrowers. Check your lender for options that may fit into your family’s unique financial situation.

Another great potential resource is the parent’s place of employment. Check with your Human Resources department to determine if your company has any educational benefits.
