Students meet once a month to discuss specific books. To learn more about them check here.

Knitting for Service

Student knitters are presently knitting caps for low birth weight babies.

Newspaper

Each trimester students publish a newspaper.

Earth "Stuartship"

Students organize activities promoting awareness of preserving the earth. In the winter months special attention will be paid to paper waste. Students and teachers are focusing what can be done individually, collectively and in the community to not abuse the use of paper products.

Mathletes

Several times a month students gather to meet the challenges of complex math problems and competitions.

Debate

Students learn the art of debate as they consider current issues.

Book Bag

Assistance is offered to those running the school bookstore.

Photographers

A cadre of student photographers is responsible for recording everyday school life and special Middle School events. These photographs are used for publications, school displays and website postings.

Student Government

Students elected from each advisory meet once a week to discuss issues concerning the middle school and make appropriate recommendations to the Head of the Middle School. A president and vice president are elected at the beginning of the school year and organize and run meetings following parliamentary procedure.

Tech Team

Students receive training in order to assist teachers and classmates with technology. They are called upon to set up equipment, help trouble shoot and video events.

Newscasters

Middle school newscasters produce, film as well as interview and broadcast the latest news on a weekly basis.
