The Middle School at Stuart

The Middle School at Stuart

Grades 6 through 8

Greetings,

Within a vibrant and energetic learning community, a Stuart middle school girl discovers who she is, who she wants to become, and how she wants to make a difference in the world. Every day, our girls are challenged and nurtured as they do the often difficult work of maturing spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Our spirited faculty and students energize one another. Innovative curriculum inspires girls to be inquisitive, creative, collaborative, resourceful, reflective, and empowered learners. Through local and global community service, Stuart middle school girls develop consciousness and commitment. They lead, compete, and create in athletics, the arts, and clubs. We believe there is something special for every girl here as she embraces the freedom to wisely express her complete self.

The Middle School’s mission statement clearly defines the atmosphere of our learning community. The middle school years are full of energy, enthusiasm and excitement. Our curriculum is both challenging and innovative, utilizing a 1:1 tablet program to provide our girls access to limitless learning resources and opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with essential 21st century skills such as effective oral and written communication, effective collaboration, critical-thinking, creative problem solving, and self-directed learning.

A rich advisory program, extensive club offerings, a strong athletic and drama program, and an 8th grade exchange program provide our students a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests and find their talents. Additionally, all middle school students participate in numerous service learning opportunities as they live Goal Three: Schools of the Sacred Heart teach to a social awareness that impels to action.

I look forward to learning more about your daughter and answering any questions that you may have about the Middle School program at Stuart. I am eager to show you how our supportive all-girl, values-based environment helps our students navigate these extremely critical middle years as they begin to learn who they are and grow into who they will be.

Sincerely,
Robert Missonis
