Gymnasium

The main Gymnasium has two short basketball courts and one tournament court. In 1993, a second gym was constructed to provide more space for volleyball, a basketball court, and space for physical education classes. The newly-expanded locker room has 278 full-size lockers for the Middle and Upper School and 126 baskets for use by grades 3 through 5, eight showers, and an athletic training room. A new separate fitness room features state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment.

Outdoors, there are two regulation-size playing fields for field hockey and lacrosse, a cross country course along a wooded nature trail, and five tennis courts. The new field house, equipped with electricity and water, provides storage for out-of-season equipment. A new parking area adjacent to the fields serves visiting team buses, emergency vehicles, and fans.

Stuart's athletic program also has access to various facilities in the Princeton area, including

• an ice hockey rink at Lawrenceville Prep
• ten additional tennis courts at Mercer County Park
• squash courts at Princeton University
• track and field facilities at the Hun School and at Lawrenceville Prep.
